Feels like spring! I, for one am always happy with the arrival of warmer weather. I know many of you are too. Some are starting to work the soil, planting vegetable and flower gardens. We are always about planting seeds here at Lighthouse UMC. Studying God’s word is a year round activity.
We have several exciting studies beginning. In one of our adult Sunday school classes they are beginning a study of Luke, “Jesus and the outsiders, outcasts and outlaws.” This is an Adam Hamilton study. This class is on Sundays at 9 am.
On Thursdays, at 10 am the ladies are going to begin on March 16, a study based on “The Chosen.” This is at the church.
On Sunday nights at 5 pm the home study group is studying “Footsteps of the Savior” by Max Lucado. This is in the home of Ron and Peggy Shepherd.
On Monday nights at 6pm here at the church, we are learning what we believe as United Methodist. If you are a young person interested in what we believe or maybe older but want a refresher, this is open to all ages.
And we are here each and every Sunday at 10:30 am. for worship and sharing the word. Lots of opportunities to worship and learn.
