Greetings in Christ!
It's a New Year, and a New Beginning!
New beginnings can be both exciting and a little scary. The exciting part is a chance to start fresh and make positive changes in our lives, but at the same time we may have to let go of the familiar and doing things as we have always done them.
We can find hope and strength in knowing that God is with us in all things, including the new beginnings we face. In Isaiah 43:19, the Lord says, “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” God is constantly at work in our lives, creating new opportunities and possibilities for us.
The new year is a great opportunity to take the steps to step forward in these beginnings. If letting go of familiar things from the past, you find yourself in need of the fellowship of God through brothers and sisters in Christ, please know you have an open invitation to join us here at Lighthouse UMC.
We enjoy a community meal each Wednesday. We have several small groups that meet at different times through the week. Every Sunday you are invited to join us in worship. Contact us and we will help guide you to a place to plug in and find a new beginning.
